STE actively participates in transportation research projects. Examples of STE research projects include:

Highway Cost Estimation
As the costs of construction materials and right-of-way increase, governments are under increasing pressure to deliver highway projects on time and within budget. STE conducted two research projects for Montana and Nevada Departments of Transportations to refine their cost estimation procedures.






NCHRP Synthesis 38-15- Falling Weight Deflectometer Usage
STE conducted a research study with the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) for a state-of-the-practice synthesis of falling weight deflectometer (FWD) usage.
