Transportation Research  STE actively participates in transportation research projects.

Cost Estimation  As the costs of construction materials and right-of-way increase, governments   are under increasing pressure to deliver highway projects on time and within  budget. STE is currently working with two Departments of Transportation to refine  their cost estimation process. Once our work is complete, those agencies will be  better able to anticipate cost escalations.

NCHRP Synthesis 38-15- Falling Weight Deflectometer Usage  STE conducted a research study with the National Cooperative Highway  Research Program (NCHRP) for a state-of-the-practice synthesis of falling  weight deflectometer (FWD) usage.
